Installed, connected, actually working.
Dishwashers, fridges, ranges, washers and dryers, microwaves and vent hoods. Unboxed, set, connected, leveled and run through a cycle before I leave — with the packaging out of your kitchen.

Owner does the work
Austin shows up. Nobody subcontracts your job out to someone you never met.
Up to a 2-hour reach
Tooele base, but I’ll travel two hours when the job makes sense.
What’s included
The appliance is the easy part to describe. The house is the variable — the shutoff, the opening, the outlet, and how the last one was installed.
- Unboxing, inspection, and removing the packing
- Moving the unit into place
- Disconnecting and removing the old appliance
- Water hookup for fridge ice makers and dispensers
- Dishwasher water, drain, and cabinet opening
- Electric ranges and dryers: cord and receptacle check
- Gas ranges and dryers: connection, leak check, shutoff left accessible
- Over-range microwaves and vent hoods, including the duct connection
- Washer and dryer set, leveled, with the vent run clean
- Leveling, testing, and a cycle before I call it done
- Packaging and old appliance hauled away
Not sure whether your job fits the list? Describe it in the form anyway — if it is not something I should be doing, I will tell you who should.
Why an install is never one price
An appliance install is either forty minutes or a whole afternoon, and the price follows. The new unit is predictable; the plumbing, wiring and cabinet opening it has to meet are not.
That is not a reason to guess high. It is a reason to ask for the model number and a photo of the old setup before the day of the job.
What moves the number
- Appliance type, and whether it is gas or electric
- Whether the old unit comes out first — and how it was installed
- Condition of the shutoff valve, outlet, and cabinet opening
- Stairs, tight corners, and narrow doorways
- Haul-away, if you want the old one gone
- Whether a cord, water line, or vent connection has to be added
The usual surprises
A shutoff valve that has not moved since the nineties and snaps when you touch it. A cabinet opening a half inch too narrow for the new dishwasher. A dryer venting into a crawlspace.
None of that is unusual. It is why I look before I promise a time, and why the price can move once the old unit is out.
Three steps, no runaround
-
Send the model and a photo
A picture of the old appliance in place, plus the model number of the new one. That covers most of the questions.
-
Confirm what is needed
I tell you if a cord, kit, water line, or vent part is missing before the visit, so nobody is driving to the store mid-install.
-
Install, test, clean up
Old unit out, new one in, connected, leveled, run through a cycle, packaging gone.

Buying from a big-box store?
That is the normal case. Have the store deliver it, and I take it from the box. If delivery is the part you need help with, say so in the request and I will tell you straight whether it is something I can do for your address.
The ones people actually ask
Do you deliver appliances?
Usually the store delivers and I install what is on site. If delivery is part of what you need, say so in the request and I will confirm whether it is something I can do for your address.
Do I need an installation kit?
Often, yes — dishwashers and dryers especially. Send the model before the visit and I will tell you what is missing so nobody is driving to the store halfway through.
Will you take the old appliance?
Say so in the request. Most replacements include haul-away; some do not, and it depends on what the unit is and where it has to go.
Can you install a gas range or dryer?
Yes, where the gas line and shutoff are already in place and sound. If the line needs to be run or moved, that is a plumber’s job and I will tell you.
What if the new appliance does not fit?
Then we find out before it is unwrapped and halfway into the cabinet. Measure the opening, the depth, and the doorway first — or send me the model number and I will tell you what to check.
Other work I take on
One contractor for the whole house. If the job needs two of these, it is still one visit and one invoice.
